Friday Afternoon at the Opera

Presenter: Rod Asher (Accompanist, ElderCollege Singers)

Come explore and appreciate the world’s greatest musical works of art. Witness their emotional content and lasting popularity. This semester, we will enjoy the following works: “Simon Boccanegra” by Verdi, “I Puritani” by Bellini, and “Carmen” by Bizet. Then we will end on a high note with “The Mikado” by Gilbert and Sullivan. You are invited to join us for Friday afternoon at the opera!
