Learn Windows Basics

Microsoft’s newest Operating System is Windows 11. This class will help you with either Windows 10 or Windows 11. Day 1 topics include learning about the desktop layout, the Start Menu and using the Windows eMail program and Outlook email online. Day 2 topics focus on Microsoft’s Edge internet browser and safe search practices as well as a bit on Microsoft Office online. If you like, you can bring your own laptop or tablet to this class, or use a Windows 11 ElderCollege class laptop. This course is not for cell phones.
NOTE: This is NOT a Gmail class. To use the free Microsoft Office Apps online participants must have a Microsoft Account, like @outlook, @hotmail or @live type email . A Microsoft account is not needed for the other parts of the class.
