Marine Search and Rescue

Presenter: Chris Wright (Volunteer, RCM·SAR)

The Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Society (RCM·SAR) is a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization that operates more than 30 marine rescue stations along the coast of British Columbia.  This presentation by Station 8 Delta will describe the challenges and successes experienced when responding to marine emergency calls in our local waters.  Come hear how these volunteers contribute to our safety on the water and help save lives through training, teamwork and communication. 

1 session: $10   Class size: max 12
